Preparation leads to enjoyment

Call and ask me your question if you don't see it here.

Do I have to make a reservation? Yes! Please call to check availability and to book your tour. We will try to accommodate same day request but can't guarantee it.

Where do we meet up? We start the tour at public boat launches all over the island. When you book your tour we will discuss different location features and decide on a boat launch. Directions and a map to the launch site will be sent in a confirmation email. We will also be available by phone to help get you there.

Do we need experience to SUP? No! We can tailor your tour to your skill level. Beginners start with an on land lesson which include how to stand up on the board and the basic paddle strokes. Paddle boarding is an individual sport and everybody learns at different speeds, we are here to help. Every experience is unique!

How large of a group can you accommodate? We specialize in small group sizes to guarantee everybody gets individual attention. If your group is larger than four people please let us know in advance, so we know to bring enough gear.

What type of Stand up Paddle Boards do we use? We have boards made by Surf Tech. Specifically the Universal Coretech it is the best all around shape for recreational paddling in flat water. Featuring full deck padding and tie down straps, this board is great for all levels.

Do I have to have a guide? Yes, We offer guided tours and lessons. If you would like to go out on your own you can rent from my SurfTech representive the Green Room in Vineyard Haven, they have rental stand up paddle boards and surf boards.

How can I make a reservation? You can make a reservation by giving me a call at 508-739-5620. Please understand that we are a small company and try to spend as much time on the water as possible. If you do not reach somebody, please leave a message and know that it will be received and returned as soon as possible.

What do I wear? Dress for the weather and comfort. Sun is amplified on the water, so wear sunscreen, if you have nice sunglasses bring croakies. It's best to go barefoot, to feel the connection to the board.  You can wear a bathing suit, board shorts, shirt, hat. An extra layer if you get cold easily is recommended for sunset tours. Everything could get completely wet, so steer clear of cotton materials.
